And Ananias went his way and entered the house. Acts 9:17 Ananias was a Christian who lived in the city of Damascus. One day the Lord told him to walk down to Straight Street and visit the house of Judas where a man named Saul of Tarsus was staying. Ananias demurred. "Lord," he said, "I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints."It isn't easy to walk knowingly into the presence of a hostile man. Saul hated Christians, and Ananias was fully aware that he was exposing himself to danger and perhaps even death. But the Lord said to him, "Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name." It's sometimes hard to be outspoken for Christ. We live in a hostile world that holds Christians up to ridicule and rejection. But whenever the Lord prompts us to speak up for Him, we should always walk right over to Straight Street, knock on the door, and share Jesus. You might just be the means God uses to turn a Saul into a Paul. The wise soul-winner will always pray and look for a chance to bear witness for Christ. Recommended Reading, Acts 9:10-19 Be blessed!
