Patience Guarantees Desired Results

A lot of the time the reason why it will appear as if our actions are failing to produce us our desired results is because out of impatience we abandon ship half way to the result destination. When we act, we want our actions to immediately manifest our desired results. And the moment we don't see the anticipated results, we become discouraged, demotivated and weary of continuing with the actions that are necessary to bring about the desired successful results.

Everything in life is subject to a process. And without patience it is impossible to remain in visual focus of the perfect end result God has already made possible for us in His infinite existence well ahead of our physical actions. Patience is a royal attribute of God. Therefore, we cannot be without patience if we truly want to remain connected to God and not be disconnected from Him. Patience is at the heart of faith. Without patience, it is impossible to hold on to our faith and remain faithful in our service to God. We need perfect patience to fulfil God's divine purpose for our lives. And in the presence of patience good outcomes and results will never elude us.

Patient as an attribute of God is not something He simply gift wrap and give to us as a present. Instead, it is something that we can only have and operate in through yielding our entire members to Him in total surrender to His regeneration process. The tribulations and trials we face in this fallen world of sin are meant to work out and perfect God's divine patient character in us. Through our trials, the stubborn outer man is meant to decay but the inner man is meant to be renewed, reformed and transformed daily into the holy character and divine righteous nature of likeness and image of Christ the only begotten Son of God (2 Corinthians 4:16-18).

Patience as a core attribute of our faithful God is meant to be perfected in us through our trial process. And impatience, which is a mortal attribute is meant to diminish and gradually disappear as we continually yield ourselves to God's regeneration process in the midst of our trials and tribulations. Evidence that patience is being perfected and working in us is in our increased ability to trust God no matter what. It is only through trusting Him that we can remain surrendered to His Will and patiently continually wait on Him irrespective of the natural situation and circumstances we find ourselves in. The weariness and wavering feelings we normally have during the waiting period is in itself evidence that we are not fully yielding to God's patience perfecting process. We need to combat weariness and wavering through allowing patience to work its way in us by ensuring that we remain steadfastly strong in our believe in God's supernatural Word of promises for our lives no matter how long it takes to manifest and come to pass in the natural.

As believers, God wants us to exercise and operate in His royal attribute of patience in all things no matter the case or situation that we find ourselves in.  It is only through patience that we will be steadfastly resilient and continue to remain diligently faithful to God in all situations and circumstances of our lives. And if we are resilient and patient in long suffering, our desired results for our proactive actions will unfailingly manifest to the glory of God. Without patience faith will die and hope will be lost. It is only through patience that we will keep our faith alive, hold on to hope and keep marching on full of strength to the destination of eternal success and glory.

I am preaching to myself today and not just to you the reader of this word. I remain strong in Your love for me O LORD my Saviour. And I give You glory and honour for Your enduring patience and perfect grace over my life. Blessed be Your holy name O LORD my divine patient God and eternal Redeemer now and everlastingly. Amen.

Romans 5:1-5

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."
